📆20 years =7,300Days =175,200Hours? Does that even sound right? To me, no. But today’s date says it.
⇻ It’s mind-boggling how every year gets faster and faster, but starting as a child seemingly takes forever. As I reflect on 20 years and what’s taken place in my life in just this short amount of time, part of me sees certain times as accomplishments and other parts as time wasted. Wonderful memories and also painful ones are brought to mind. The life events that changed my life seemingly stick out but yet some of the little moments in life that mean so much do too. I remember growing up with all the dreams I had, but 2 in particular that always stuck. Last year, one of those dreams happened and this year I get to live out the second one. Those 2 dreams were to become and wife and a mother. I never imagined these 2 life events would happen by the age of 20. But I’m reminded of God’s provision and hand in all of my life’s lessons and adventures. How he guides and directs us through life’s little and big moments, shows that he helps us every step of the way. These things wouldn’t have been my dreams or even happened this way if it hadn’t been for Christ’s guidance and direction in my life. Though I have much to learn, and Lord willing many years to do it, what I have gained so far is a small understanding of God’s will for my life and the direction in where he is leading me. And the assurance of his Spirit in my life and joy for tomorrow gives me an excitement for what is to come. So an encouraging note for you sister is, no matter where you are in life, or what you’ve accomplished, in what matter of time, if God is your guide, you are right where you need to be. God’s provision is beyond what we can even imagine and will fill us with the strength we need for each new day.🌞
