Ways I’ve prepared my body for a healthy pregnancy with baby #3. Part 4

I’ve shared a lot about the different ways I’ve tried to proactively help my body have a better chance at a healthier pregnancy with this third baby.

I’m very thankful to share that we have made it past the 30 week mark without any complications. That being said, I wanted to share one more thing that has been a good mindset help in creating a positive thought pattern towards this pregnancy.

With meditation, I have really tried to allow my mind and body to rest and be present and more thankful for the here and now. Along with this something that I did at the very beginning of pregnancy was this:

…write out birth affirmations.

In these positive phrases I did my best to only write words that I know to be true.

This paper is worn and been scribbled on by my kiddos now, but it holds a lot of depth and meaning too, with how far we’ve come. I typically will say them out loud to myself a few times a week, especially on the harder days. Affirming out loud truth has been a big part of me believing that this pregnancy is good and God wants the best for us.

With each phrase I’ve been able to personalize it as each stage of pregnancy changes. It’s gone from baby, to baby boy, to now our precious boys name: Harrison.

Im counting down the weeks and days till we get to meet him and hold him. My heart is overflowing with the excitement of having 3 children to love and see them grow up together. God has been so good to me, I can’t thank Him enough.

Blessings,

Xoxo, Shantel
