Do you ever feel like each year you don’t have time to do the simple Christmas things?❤️
Yeah, me too.
Every December we have an advent calendar that our family loves, but in the past I have found myself filling our days with big things and realizing that we didn’t have time to do meaningful little spontaneous things too.
So, this year I simplified and have made time for more intentional moments. And in doing so we have been able to make time for the little meaningful Christmas things too!
Things such as Christmas puzzles, baking treats each week, and being able to share some with our neighbors. Reading our Christmas books. And not just once, but over and over again to grasp the full picture of joy this season brings and Christ’s birth. We’ve watched the cheesy Christmas movies that hold the true essence of giving and sharing with community.
It’s been different, but a good different, and I have loved it so much. ❤️🎄
