Here’s some Thursday thoughts about worry combat. Plus a silly video of me that you have to watch first! 🤣
Okay, so do I always take captive those thoughts like I should? Unfortunately no, it’s still something I struggle with daily.
BUT, here’s 3️⃣ things that help combat the spiraling when my worries pop up.
•✨Jam to worship music!🎶
It’s hard to worry when I’m praising God and actively thinking about the words I’m singing.
• ✨Reciting scriptures that deal with my trust and worry issues. Proverbs 3:5-6 is a great passage to start with!
• ✨Thinking about what I’m grateful for RIGHT NOW. Not what’s going to happen, not what has happened, but what IS happening in the present that I can be thankful for.
✨BONUS: Get outside! This one especially this year has been so applicable. Having a toddler who loves to play outdoors is good for me. Going on walks in the fresh air has also been so great for mind and body.
