Being this is the first post I decided to start it out telling a little bit about myself and the reason I started this blog.

As a little girl, I always loved dressing up, playing with my hair and trying to new styles. I had a box full of princess dresses, frilly aprons, Cinderella shoes, and plastic pearl necklaces, that had my attention for hours. I was taught to sew and making my own clothes was always a fun challenge as well as taking an old pair of jeans and making them new again. The older I got the more my love for clothes and cultivating a confident fashionable style began to grow. I loved matching colors together and trying different pieces out. It was always exciting when I found a new outfit right inside my own closet. Finding deals and the clearance rack has always been my weakness, but also a good alternative to a spending spree. My passion for fashion and the way it makes me feel to put on my favorite denim jacket and get some good curls going in my hair is something I can’t wait to share with you and to help YOU find pieces that are right inside your closet you might not even know about!

My love for Jesus started at a young age, I grew up in a Christian home, was taught biblical principles, and at the age of 12 was baptized into Christ. My learning from scriptures as to the woman’s beautiful place in the home and the many women in the Bible whom God chose to do great things have stuck with me and inspired me to be a wife and someday a mother. The peace and joy I find in him is the reason each and every day that I wake up knowing my life is all under control in his hands. This being said I also wanted this blog to be an encouragement to you and share what God is doing and teaching in my life.

The few extra things that I will be sharing with you in this blog are; recipes here and there, a few hands-on craft projects, and who knows maybe a couple surprises along the way!

Last but definitely not least, my love for photography. Growing up, the beauty of a perfect sunset and watching a creek trickle over rocks, instilled in me a yearning to capture the moment in a picture. The special events in life that only happen once in a lifetime inspired me to learn basic skills to capture these and so that decades later these photos then can make me feel the same way it did at that moment. So, I’ve decided to use this as a window to share with you my love for fashion and faith.
