Lord thank you for February, a month that is centered around love. A word that encompasses all that you are and do. I thank you for the love that you give so unfailingly and generously. Thank you for the people you put in our lives that remind us of that love. And for giving us reason to love as you do.
Help us to remember especially this February, that nothing can separate us from your love and that we are conquerors through you who love us. Help us to love those who we struggle to love. Give us strength and remind us that you love us though we are imperfect and sinners too. Humble our hearts to see love through your eyes Lord. Thank you, God, for the ultimate love you showed by sending your only son to be the savior of this world. The love in that sacrifice shows just how much we as a people mean to you. Your gift is unmatchable, unfailing, and unfathomable.
(Romans 8: 37-38) 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
