πWith full-on fall being right around the corner I wanted to share with you some items that are must-haves in your closet. I have always been one of those crazy ladies that switched my summer clothes out for fall at the first signs of seasons changing because itβs so exciting!…. I know, I know, what am I doing right?! But hear me out. The best part about getting the fall out before itβs in full swing is that it gives you time to go through and organize and/or discard the pieces that either donβt fit, are damaged, or don’t work with your style. The other great thing is that it gives you the time to collect new pieces you need or want and be able to enjoy them the full season. So without further ado here are the clothing items that are the foundation to almost every good autumn outfit and will keep you looking great all season long!

π LONG SLEEVE PRINT BLOUSE
This top I wore this summer was one of my favorites and this print looks especially great with denim! |
If you’ve been watching the fall trends coming out, you will see that leopard/cheetah and snakeskin are making a big statement. And the many different ways these prints are being worn are so cute and stylish. This sweater is a perfect addition to your closet and paired with a dark wash jean and a black statement necklace makes a really fun expression.
π SHORT BROWN BOOTS
Short Brown Boots are my most worn item EVER in the fall. I wear these babies everywhere with practically everything. And that’s because they go with just about everything! They are a great neutral color and add a nice classy touch to any outfit.
π KNIT CREW SOCKS
Okay so while I LOVE knee-high socks and leg warmers to wear with tall boots, in the fall, itβs not quite cold enough for me to bring them out. However, with the short brown boots, knit crew socks are the cutest item to pair with them! They also look great with cropped jeans or with the pant leg rolled up.

π LONG SLEEVED WHITE T-SHIRT
A long-sleeved white shirt in the fall is a huge help for those days where you literally don’t want to wear anything in your closet! The reason being, you can wear a white long sleeve with almost ANY cardigan, scarf, or plaid button-down, and look fabulous. It’s such a crisp piece that just works so well with all the fall colors, and still stands out a little!

π DARK WASH JEANS
As my wardrobe transitions into the fall, I let go of the bright summer colors and embrace the darker warmer tones. And with jeans, it’s the same. Don’t get me wrong, a light wash jean can still look great in the fall but a dark wash jean just usually looks a million times more appealing to me, with the oranges, maroons, and browns coming out more!
