I wonder

I

There are times where I wonder why God gave us emotions. Times I wish I didn’t have to feel things.

There’s times where I wonder if I was just so overwhelmingly thankful, if it would completely erase any feelings of anxiousness in my mind.

There’s times where I wonder if my life truly reflects God working in me. Am I bearing good fruit?

There’s times where I feel really put together and actually have the answer. But then I feel prideful.

There’s times where God’s goodness brings me to conviction, my heart feels broken. But my hardest day is a dying patients dream.

There’s times where I feel like a grape hanging on His vine, so close to hear His every word he speaks over my life. And then there’s times I feel I just hear silence.

There’s times my cup runs over and I’m so full of His love. But why do I then feel too comfortable?

Nevertheless, I press on.

Again, there’s times I wonder why God gave us emotions. But He feels things too.

An overwhelming love for us. His creation. His masterpiece. His work spoken into being through his words. The emotion of love was not ours to begin with it was HIS. ❤️

“Little children, let’s not love with words or speech but with action and truth. This is how we will know that we belong to the truth and reassure our hearts in God’s presence. Even if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭

Keep going sis.

He’s got you,
