We’ve had such a fun summer this year! From camping to car tours, to pool days, garden growing, and tree climbing. The kids enjoyed and finished almost everything on their bucket list. I feel very thankful to have the opportunities that we do in our little family life.
But just like that, school is here again and today my big boy started first grade. 🥹
I’ve had so much fun gathering curriculum this year! We also had the opportunity to go to the NORTHERN CALIFORNIA HOMESCHOOLCONVENTION in July and it was amazing! I had the honor of meeting amazing speakers and people.
One of them being the author Susan Wise Bauer, who wrote “The Well Trained Mind”. The book that inspired much of my mom homeschooling us as children, and has in turn, inspired me too.
I also met Author and podcaster Carrie De Francisco What neat ladies!
Because we started the basics of homeschooling and curriculums we had originally thought would work best with Hudson last year in kindergarten, much of what we are doing this year is a continuation of that. We loved Phonics Pathways, Apologia Science, The Code Books, Math-U-See, and a few more.
I am excited for Hudson, and we are looking forward to another awesome year of homeschooling!
