Dear Graduates,
As graduation season is upon us, it’s made me reflect a lot on life since I myself graduated. It seems like yesterday was my last day of high school. So much has happened just within the 2 years since my high school graduation. I never thought then that I would have gotten engaged, graduated from college, got married, moved 3 times, bought a house, and am having a baby, just in that length of time. And if you had asked me back then, that was all the stuff I wanted to do in the future but not that quickly. While it seems like it’s all happened so fast and at times seems confusing, it also has been a great eye-opening experience for me. God uses our experiences to not only grow us but help us see that his timing is perfect and that he has everything under control if we submit to his will. There were times of questioning why something was happening then. But how life has transpired for me in such a short time, is an example of his part in showing us that he did or allowed everything for a reason. It’s crazy to think that He not only knows what we will do before we do it but also see our needs and fill them before we even see them. With each moment that happens each day God knows what each of us needs to either get through it or be able to enjoy it. In our small life events and in our big ones he knows us, our needs, and is for us. What comforting reassurance.
We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9 |
