Basic Chambray Top 5 Ways

One of my favorite pieces that I started wearing when I really got into fashion was a Chambray button-up top. I loved the way it could make a skirt or dress look great, and the dimension it added to an outfit. This shirt made any color pop and was just an all-around classy essential. So when I saw that Coco & Main had the perfect Chambray button-up I immediately had so much inspiration for it! If you don’t have one it’s a great price compared to a lot of other brands and the quality is definitely there. Love that!
So I’ve put together my favorite ways to wear it in the warmer months and if you have one I hope this gives you some great inspiration in your closet!

Denim on Denim with White:
TOP LINKED HERE!

This one’s the epitome of classic- I love a denim on denim in the right washes. A light wash Chambray top and dark wash jeans with a crisp white tee are really the easiest and cutest. Its classy, and looks good on anyone!

Neck Scarf:
You know me, I love a neck scarf. Something about the little flare it adds to an outfit is so appealing to my style. With a Chambray top too its no exception, It looks terrific with a collar neckline and so chic!

Patterned Skirt:
This one is great for a summer evening party or a day out shopping. With a dressier patterned skirt and cute pair of heels, it’s even a great option for church. The perfect mix of classy and edgy.

Blazer:

I love a cute blazer! For you ladies that work in an office with a dress code, this one’s for you! A Chambray top with a blazer- mostly any color- is perfect. It’s also a great option for the summer because the material is light and flowy, not too much layering weight going on.
Layered over a Dress:
This one’s a great one for the beach. I love a cute summer dress but sometimes feel the need for a little more covering but not overdressed. Enter: the Chambray top. It keeps that beachy summer vibe but adds a little fun dimension. Tie a little knot at the end and you’re ready for the sand.

I would love to see how you style one and which way is your favorite!
